Patto is struck down with the flu so couldn’t  play the last day which meant that I had to take my testosterone pills and play with the boys.  Big match, Robbo is my partner and we are playing against Hoppy and Keven07.  I have to play off the whites, Robbo off the blacks and Hoppy and Kevin off the whites with me.  I got an extra 6 shots – game on.

This course is only 5 mins from the resort hotel and is next door to the dunes so very similar scenery as in the back drop but much harder than the Dunes.

The girls are playing together and more friendships cemented, Rosco is trying to go back to back great scores. Pierre is going to improve his finishing and both boys matches have money on them. Ours was $1 on each of the 6 holes then $1 on each of the 9 holes and $1 for the 18.  

It was close with squares all the way until 6 where Hoppy/Kev duo snuck in front and are $1 up.  Robbo and I were obviously just warming up because we totally smoked it and cleaned up the rest.

Robbo was the best with 39 points off the blacks, I was 38 points and Belinda had 37.  I had so much fun, was good to be playing for money, just like the old days!  Avondale ladies, I think we should start a betting school, it makes it a lot more fun….

The course was amazing, spectacular, jaw droppingly beautiful.  Do you get that it was the best, helped by the fact that we were scorching it up!
