It was forecast for high winds today so we decided it was a good opportunity for a rest day. I woke up to find this view this morning
It was a chore morning for me, tidying up the mess we made with our DIY, some more purchases for the house then another visit to the boot fitter to talk about my three toes that go numb in the ski boots. Basically I need to “suck it up”! Then onto a massage with Jen and Sue it was heavenly. Jen’s legs were so sore that she thought that she was going to black out – she makes me laugh, I was sharing a room with her and there wasn’t a sound. I thought that she was sleeping little did I know that she was undergoing torture and just being polite…
It was a slow start for the rest of the group and a relaxing day hanging around the house this morning and venturing out for a walk into town this afternoon. John went on an explore to Fern Hill which is where we put the deposit on the house we were going to buy first time around in Queenstown, that is now completed but the rest of the block is a building site. So all in all we are very lucky to have what we have now.
Neil is cooking up a storm going into competition with Ferg Burger. Last night we tried out the new restaurant Madam Woo which is a Josh Emmet fusion restaurant, very impressive. We started out with a cocktail at Eichardts which was another first for John and I.
Tomorrow we are hopefully going skiing, question is what slopes are Jen and Neil skiing – stay tuned folks….

Mad about golf, enthusiastic about life, totally in love with my husband and just having fun.
Beautiful sunrise.
