It bucketed it down with rain last night and the forecast on the mountain was for grainy snow – we got fussy and decided not to ski. What a mistake this was – it was a glorious day in town and on the mountain. Oopsie!
Shaz – go to dentist to fix broken tooth, more household chores and some work on Fairways Travel Perth Tour (plug!)
Jen – had a migraine and now a chesty cough – in bed for most of morning then helped Shaz with the chores and did an amazing job at tiling.
Neil – looked after Jen, sorted out electric blankets and dealt with the left right conundrum and took Jen and I out to lunch.
Sid – went for a “flat” walk around the lake and then into town to his new favourite lunch spot Ivy and Lola’s.
John and Sue went for a walk (hike) up Queenstown Hill. It is a 2 – 3 hour round trip walk and up hill quite a bit in the first part. They said it was absolutely gorgeous and below are some photos.
Then last night we went to Bardeaux for cocktails and off to the return trip to Flame for more ribs. John’s work colleague and his girlfriend were here and we had dinner and drinks with them. Fingers crossed we actually get to the slopes tomorrow.
