Little Jack is mad about Crazy Golf and when he saw our golf clubs all he wanted to do was play Crazy Golf. So we promised him that we would take him to Crazy Golf, it was so exciting…
When there are so many of you it takes a while to get going in the morning and this was just too long for Jack. So we set the timer – gave ourselves an hour to get ready and for the first 2 minutes he sat and watched the clock tick down. Poor thing was so excited about crazy golf – we all hurried and moved the timer forward and the excitement on his face when it ticked over to 00:00.
We have a Sat Nav in the hire car which is a BMW. Lucky that I have been in Carolyn’s car enough times to watch her use it so I knew how to operate it. We put the Crazy golf place into the Sat Nav and when Bundu Bashing (for the non-africans that is four wheel driving on non sealed road with pot holes). You really think that you have gone the wrong way, but eventually after 4 or 5 blind corners you land up on a main road and voila the place you are looking for is there.

Off we go, all pressure on Shazzy who I think got the highest score on the first hole. Real golf is way easier! We had a lot of fun, most important Jack had a lot of fun, Sam was the only one to score a hole in one and what a spectacular one it was. Richard was the winner with Caz in a close second and mmmm…. Shazzy and John were last.

The little shade huts had air conditioned cooling mist to keep the golfers cool – they need to take that to Dubai!
Then it was back to the Villa, to check on Patty as she didn’t want to come because of the heat. Shaz, John and Sam went to scout out the practice golf facilities whilst Rich, Caz and Jack went to scout out the beach. Apparently when Jack realised that we were not together we wanted to know where his new family were. Bless…
More swimming, piggy back fights and Crazy golf on the lawn. Did we make Pat laugh? I will let you be the judge of it…
