Oops! John realised that it was Monday and we should have been playing golf at 9:20am. You know that you are having a good holiday when you don’t even know what day it is. Luckily we could re-schedule – so no dramas. As Jack was so into his golf we wanted to go and get him a practice putting mat and a putter more his own size. Or I may have been more concerned that my scotty cameron was going to get damaged….
I don’t think that I have ever had so much pleasure in giving a present. When we came back from the shops, we put the crazy golf box in the boot so Jack could open it and see it. We tooted when we arrived and Jack came to see his new family, we got him to open the boot and his face and expressions – Wow, amazing a crazy golf set, my own crazy golf set, this is amazing. We didn’t have the putter as it had to be cut down, we didn’t tell him about it – but needless to say Jack loves his crazy golf set.

Did we make Patty laugh – yes.
There was the time that John and Rich were trekking in Nepal and after climbing a vertical mile they stopped and ordered some beans. It was taking ages and they were whinging about how long does it take to make beans. Then along came the chef serving them their food and she had no legs, she shuffled to the table and they went quiet. They felt pretty safe doing a runner from that one!
