Rich, Caz and kids went to the Zoo Marine water park, which was “fantastic”.  Jack said to his parents when he left “I have had the best day”!  Bless, thats all you want.  Nick, Daph, John and I had a lazy day around the Pool in the morning and then out to explore and lunch, leaving Pat at the Villa as she was into her book and we couldn’t pry her away from her shady cool couch.

We went off on an expedition – got told we couldn’t enter the Four Seasons for lunch as it was members only, so we skulked off down the road and found this fantastic place in Quinta do Lago at the Lago (lake).  Only one thing on the menu for John – Chicken peri peri, this place is fantastic.  It has a water park, a beach, a private lake, a bar and a formal dining area. We didn’t have our swimmers, so we thought we would bring the whole gang back the next day.

Back home to check Pat was still awake.  She managed to catch up on the shenanigans of the Archers (her favourite radio program).

We made the best bubble machine in the whole world, with the jet power of the electric fan – we produced a mass of bubbles which Jack loved chasing.

Did we make Pat laugh, of course – she loves hearing about all the stories the boys got up to when they were younger.
